How do I set up checklists?
Checklists are forms that can be submitted multiple times for the same lead — ideal for tracking recurring activities like service visits, follow-up calls, or quality checks.
TL;DR
Access: Campaign settings → Checklists → + New checklist. Set: name, icon, max submissions per lead (and per user), who can edit, whether to prompt for status on submission, intro text. Add fields: text, notes, check (yes/no / dropdown / radio), file upload. Unlike regular fields (one value), checklists store multiple timestamped submissions. Each submission is shown as a log entry on the lead profile.
Get started in 3 steps
Create the checklist
Go to Campaign settings → Checklists → + New checklist. Set: Name (appears in the lead UI), Icon (FontAwesome class, e.g. fa fa-check), Max submissions per lead (unlimited or specific number), Max submissions per lead per user (prevents individual over-submission), Who can edit submissions (all / creator + admins / admins only), Set lead status on submission? (yes → user picks status when submitting), Intro text (optional instructions shown at top of form). Save to create the checklist.
Add fields
Click + next to the checklist name to add fields. Each field has: Name, Field type (Default text max 250 chars / Comment/Notes textarea / Check yes-no / File upload), Available options (for dropdowns), Is required, Placeholder text, Default value, Icon, Description/help text. Add as many fields as needed. Keep the form concise — users submit it repeatedly, so shorter is better.
Use on the lead profile
Checklists appear on the lead profile page as a submittable form. Each submission is timestamped and stored as a separate log entry — all submissions for that lead are visible in the checklist section. Submissions cannot be overwritten (unless edit permissions allow it); they accumulate as a history log. Use this for: service visit log, call log, quality inspection history, task completion tracking.
