This example demonstrates how to create a quotation line generator that stores data in a JSON field at the customer level and displays the submitted quotation lines on a visually appealing webpage.
The implementation consists of three steps:
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Step 1: Data fields - JSON schema
(Quotation_lines.json)
Create a new data field named "tilbud" with slug "df_tilbud" to store quotation line data. This field uses JSON schema to validate and structure the quotation information. If you use a different slug name, you'll need to update all references in the subsequent code.
Step 2: Generator webpage
(index.html/style.css/scritp.js)
Create a new webpage called "generator" in Campaign settings → Webpages. This page contains the HTML form, CSS styling, and JavaScript functionality that allows users to add, edit, and manage quotation lines. The generator interface provides an intuitive way to build quotations with product names, quantities, prices, and descriptions.
Step 3: Quotation display webpage
(index_customer.html/style_customer.css/script_customer.js)
Create a new webpage called "Tilbudsvisning" (Quotation View) in Campaign settings → Webpages. This page retrieves the JSON data from the data field and presents it in a professional, formatted layout suitable for customer viewing. The display page includes HTML structure, CSS styling for visual presentation, and JavaScript to dynamically render the quotation data.
