How Hubhus navigation is structured: Account settings, Campaign settings, and non-admin views

New to Hubhus? This article explains where to find the most important settings and why different users see different menu options.

TL;DR

3 navigation layers: (1) Account settings (Main menu → Account) — global config, applies across all campaigns: users, security, data policies, integrations. (2) Campaign settings (Campaigns → select a campaign) — campaign-specific: workflow, fields, booking forms, lead assignment. (3) Non-admin views — simplified menu controlled by user permissions: assigned campaigns, own profile, working hours, calendar access. Changes in Account settings can affect all campaigns — use for global standards, not per-campaign tweaks.

3 navigation layers to know

1

Account settings — global configuration

Access: Main menu → Account (admin required). Contains everything that applies across all campaigns and users: user management and permissions, security (trusted IPs, 2FA), data retention/anonymization/consent, email and SMS account settings, integrations, API access, account fields, and scheduled jobs. Changes here can affect multiple campaigns at once — use for global standards.

2

Campaign settings — per-campaign configuration

Access: Campaigns → select a campaign → settings icon or options menu. Contains everything specific to one campaign: workflow behavior, status handling, fields, filters, booking forms, lead assignment logic, campaign-level rules, and output options. If a change should only affect one campaign, configure it here — not in Account settings.

3

Non-admin views — role-based access

Non-admin users see a simplified menu based on their User permissions. They typically have access to: assigned campaigns (operational use only, no administration), own user profile (working hours, special dates, 2FA, Microsoft account link), calendar (own or granted access), and dashboards (based on permissions). No full account-level administration menu — and fewer edit/management shortcuts in campaign navigation.

Quick setup for new users

  1. Open your assigned campaign from Campaigns
  2. Go to your profile and confirm personal details
  3. Set your working hours and special dates
  4. Enable two-factor authentication
  5. Connect Microsoft account if calendar sync is required
  6. Open your calendar/dashboard and confirm expected data is visible

Troubleshooting missing menu items

If a user cannot see a campaign, menu item, or settings option: first verify their role and assigned permissions. If access looks correct but content is still missing, confirm campaign assignment, visibility rules, and whether the item belongs to Account settings (admin scope) or Campaign settings (campaign scope).
