Security settings — Trusted IP addresses

The Security settings page provides centralized access to trusted IP configurations. IPs added here allow login from approved networks with less strict authorization — useful for office networks and VPN exit points.

TL;DR

Go to Account → Security settings. Your current IP is shown at the top — check it to avoid locking yourself out. Click New trusted IP, enter a friendly name and an IP address or range (single IP, range like 123.123.1.10-20, or wildcard like 123.123.1.*). Use "Insert: Your IP" to auto-fill your current address.

3 things to know

1

Supported IP formats

Three formats are accepted:

  • Single IP: 123.123.1.10
  • Range: 123.123.1.10-20 (covers .10 to .20)
  • Wildcard: 123.123.1.* (covers .0 to .255)

Use descriptive friendly names (e.g. "Office Copenhagen", "VPN exit point") so the list stays manageable over time.

2

Check your current IP before making changes

The page always shows your current IP address and whether it is already trusted. Check this before removing entries — if you remove your own IP and no other trusted IP covers your network, you may lock yourself out of the account.

3

2FA is also managed here

The Security settings page also contains the default Two-factor authentication (2FA) settings. See the separate article Setting up two-factor authentication (2FA) for details on enabling SMS-based 2FA for all users.
